About Me

Hello, I’m Charles, a 16-year-old photographer and videographer based in Australia, specializing in automotive and sports content. Long before I picked up a camera, cars, editing, and building a brand of my own were already part of my life. Since I can remember, I’ve consistently been editing videos, experimenting with content, and growing some form of brand or creative project, driven by a genuine interest in storytelling and doing what interests me.

That curiosity eventually led me to photography at 14, after discovering my Mum’s old Canon camera. The first real experience behind the lens came from the stands at the Vailo Adelaide 500, where I began capturing the atmosphere, movement, and emotion of motorsport. From there, I started spending weekends shooting at local car meets and friends’ sporting matches, learning how to work around athletes, drivers, teams, and constantly changing conditions.

By 15, I began branching out professionally. I invested in better equipment, stepped into videography, and moved beyond simple coverage into planned shoots and content designed specifically for digital platforms and media use. Alongside shooting, I developed strong post-production workflows, becoming confident in Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, with a focus on clean, consistent visual delivery and fast turnaround.

Now at 16, I freelance regularly through my media business, CM Visuals, working with teams, organizations, and brands across sport and motorsport. I manage my own camera and production equipment, plan shoots independently or collaboratively, and deliver both stills and video in fast-paced environments where adaptability and professionalism matter.

What began as a hobby has grown into a full-time pursuit. I enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a wider creative team, and I take pride in representing the people and brands I work with in a professional, reliable way. My focus is on producing purposeful media that connects with audiences, supports teams and partners, and reflects the energy of the environments I work in.
